“Formation of a Chamber PAC allows us an unprecedented opportunity to strengthen the voice of the El Dorado Hills Business Community among our elected officials,” stated El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Debbie Manning. Under the new El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce Business and Community Political Action Committee (BACPAC) is able to contribute funds towards pro-business candidates and initiatives. “Chambers of Commerce across the country have found PACs to be an essential tool in advancing the business community agenda at local, state, and federal levels,” Manning added. “BACPAC will provide us with an additional forum to actively engage our legislators on the needs and concerns of our Chamber members and the El Dorado Hills business community.”
BACPAC is a bipartisan political action committee (PAC) that works to protect business-friendly interests by identifying and campaigning for pro-jobs candidates running for local and state legislative seats. BACPAC includes support for candidates and initiatives both the state and local levels, ensuring that pro-jobs voice is heard through our region.
(BACPAC) is pleased to announce its endorsement of Alexandra Duarte for Senate District 4, which encompasses all of El Dorado County.
Following a thorough candidate interview process, BACPAC determined that Duarte best reflects the policies, values, and mission of the Chamber, particularly in support of local businesses, economic responsibility, public safety, and strong communities.
BACPAC recently conducted interviews with candidates for Senate District 4 and asked a series of rigorous questions on issues critical to El Dorado County, including wildfire risk, insurance concerns, state budget deficits and cuts, and protecting First Amendment freedoms. Read more ›
