Chamber Scholarship Program

The El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer scholarships to graduating seniors from local high schools, who plan to continue their education by attending a university, college, or vocational school. The Chamber awarded six $1,000 scholarships to deserving students in 2022. The scholarships are funded through proceeds from El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce events and generously funded by:

Joe Harn, El Dorado County Auditor-Controller, funding three scholarships

Kevin Loewen, El Dorado Hills Community Services District General Manager

Pacific Interstate Insurance Brokers

Scholarships are based on 50% community service, 15% work experience, 15% extracurricular activities, 10% scholastic GPA, and 10% financial need. “Year after year, our Chamber has a strong commitment to invest in our local youth via our scholarship program,” shared Debbie Manning, President/CEO. Scholarship applications and supporting materials must now be submitted through https://scholarships.edcoe.org/.

El Dorado Hills Art, Beer & Wine Festival

The El Dorado Hills Art, Beer & Wine Festival has been a beloved community tradition since 2003. El Dorado Hills Chamber CA$H Recovery Rebate

The El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce, with the support of our Premier Partners, is proud to offer rebates to help stimulate our regional economy. We were pleased to bring back the program this year, May 1, 2021 – August 31, 2021. Over $100,00 in revenue was generated and nearly $10,000 in rebates were distributed. In the rebate’s first year of 2020, over $200,000 was stimulated in the local economy and over $10,000 in rebates were offered to households or donated to local, nonprofits.  A maximum of $200 was issued to households based on receipts submitted, or donated to a local nonprofit if requested. Businesses and Nonprofits Benefitted KCRA-3 Live Remotes

Order Your 2022 California Employment Poster through the El Dorado Hills Chamber

You must post a compliant Employment Poster in a conspicuous place in the workplace where all employees and applicants can see it. The poster also must include information about your workers’ compensation benefits, payday schedule and emergency contacts. You may need to order several to ensure that your business, branches and satellite offices are displaying the poster according to the law. Failure to comply can result in severe penalties and fines by the state of California. If any of your company’s workers are Spanish-speaking, you will need to order the Spanish version. Order Now >

Community Messaging Project

Inspired by efforts of good-will messaging efforts around the world, the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the creation of a Positivity Wall project in El Dorado Hills Town Center. Residents and visitors were invited to leave a positive message, words of encouragement, or a wish on a card to attach to the Positivity Wall. ELDO Young Professionals

A program adopted and approved by our Chamber’s Board of Directors, ELDO Young Professionals (ELDO YP) is a viable, networking group for young professionals in the greater El Dorado Hills region. Saturday Night in the Park 2016 Post-Event Report

The El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce and El Dorado Hills Community Services District co-hosted the popular event, Saturday Night in the Park on Saturday, September 10, 2016.  This event drew between 4,000 and 5,000 residents and included live music by Rock and Roll Time Machine, 29 business booths, children’s activities, food vendors, free giveaways, sponsor booths, face painter booths, bounce houses, and free wine, beer and vodka tasting booths. This event was designed to showcase local businesses to the community in a family fun setting.  It was held outdoors from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the El Dorado Hills Community Park, 1021 Harvard Way, in El Dorado Hills.

After the event, each booth participant was asked to complete a brief survey to provide feedback and insure the continued improvement of this event for future years. Click here to read the full updated report.
