Buy your tasting tickets today for the Art, Beer & Wine Festival; prices increase April 23
El Dorado Hills, CA. March 23, 2017. While the 14th annual El Dorado Hills Art, Beer & Wine Festival presented by Sunworks Solar is free entry – tasting the local craft beer and award winning wine requires that you are 21 years or older with an official tasting kit.

2017 Half Marathon
The El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the launch of The Gold Country Half Marathon and 5k on June 11th, 2017.
This inaugural event will be the first major half marathon in beautiful El Dorado Hills. Starting and finishing in the pristine El Dorado Hills Town Center, The Gold Country Half Marathon and 5K will showcase all of what makes El Dorado Hills “one of America’s best places to live.”
The race will be a premier running event managed by the Sacramento Running Association’s world-class race operations team, and it will feature “the flattest and fastest course in the foothills.” Enjoy beautiful scenery, great participant services, and an exciting finisher’s party in El Dorado Hills Town Center featuring beer, wine, food, music and fun for the whole family. Saturday Night in the Park 2016 Post-Event Report
The El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce and El Dorado Hills Community Services District co-hosted the popular event, Saturday Night in the Park on Saturday, September 10, 2016. This event drew between 4,000 and 5,000 residents and included live music by Rock and Roll Time Machine, 29 business booths, children’s activities, food vendors, free giveaways, sponsor booths, face painter booths, bounce houses, and free wine, beer and vodka tasting booths. This event was designed to showcase local businesses to the community in a family fun setting. It was held outdoors from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the El Dorado Hills Community Park, 1021 Harvard Way, in El Dorado Hills.
After the event, each booth participant was asked to complete a brief survey to provide feedback and insure the continued improvement of this event for future years. Click here to read the full updated report.

Photos Wanted for the CA Welcome Center - El Dorado Hills
The California Welcome Center and the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce are announcing another photo contest. In 2014, images of El Dorado Hills were produced as postcards and are now popular items in the Welcome Center.
This year we are opening the contest to images of the whole county.
If you, or someone you know, is interested in the prospect of having your photograph reproduced and sent around to world showcasing El Dorado County’s beauty, submit them by September 23rd, 2016 to the California Welcome Center, 2085 Vine Street, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762.
Please submit no more than 6 hard copy images per individual in 4”X6” horizontal format. The winner will be announced by October 5th.

Revised 2016 California and Federal Employment Notices
On July 26, 2016, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) announced mandatory changes that took effect August 1, 2016, to two federal employment postings-allowing little time for employers to comply by the deadline.
These required updates affect the Federal Minimum Wage notice and the Employee Polygraph Protection Act notice, and the revised 2016 California and Federal Employment Notices poster will reflect the updates.
